Those who deal with anxiety should not have to go through it alone. Anxiety is more than fear; anxiety is a debilitating psychological disorder. Some patients might realize they have it, and others might not. When life becomes stressful, its stressors can increase the symptoms of anxiety: you might feel more fatigued than usual, you might begin to sweat a lot, you might fail to concentrate even when you try, and so on. As the anxiousness worsens, the more difficult life can be, which leads to more stress (and even depression). We help patients find their balance so they can remain calm through life's key stressors like school, work, and social activity.
Depression is another essential mental illness we treat. Depression and anxiety have some relation, but they're two different things. Depression causes patients to no longer enjoy life to its fullest. Rather than feeling irrationally nervous, patients with depression might lose their appetite, start disliking activities they once enjoyed, feel guilty and worthless, feel an urge to overeat, and find themselves having severe suicidal thoughts. We help patients discover life's purpose once more.
Couples can run into problems. Instead of it being a mental health problem for one, it's now a battle for two. When this battle occurs, couples can run into communication problems that can take a toll on the relationship — which may lead to more mental health issues on an individual level. Couples therapy is a solution to this as it remedies the interpersonal disagreements between the couple.
Teenagers (or adolescences) are dealing with problems that they might not be ready to handle. Since they're in a transitionary period of their lives, they might feel like they are starting to lose control. Life begins to make less sense, and they need help.
